Killer Show At The Empire

  • by

Last night we had an amazing show with four awesome local bands. Us, Proxima B, started out the night, followed by The Last Witch, Forced Happiness, and our favorite and most gracious headliners ever, Flourish!

We started off the night with a killer set that hits hard and is even louder. We got the room rocking, and showed all what the night had in store.

Next up was The Last Witch, whose killer vocals showed us just how heavy you can get, while also awesome vocal melodies that were both heavy and emotional.

Forced Happiness were up next, and brought out the inner punk in all of us. With catchy riffs that were lightning fast, it felt like we were transported to So.Cal. in the 80’s (my favorite era). Also shout out for recognizing my Germs shirt!

Finally, the night was rounded out by Flourish. They brought us back to charming melodies and epic polyrythms that had the whole venue grooving. Kameron’s sick baselines shook the house, while the groovy yet intense drum licks laid down by Harley really kept the groove locked in, and showed just how much flavor and texture that can be added with really solid, intricate grooves on the kit.

All in all it was a great show, and we can’t wait to get back out there and see also these awesome bands again!

Catch us at the McAlpine Meadery Next Saturday! Hit us up for the deets @ booking@proximab.co

Be sure to check out all these guys on your favorite streaming platform!
